The IQF Process

From Farm to Freezer

Individual Quick Freezing locks in freshness within hours of harvest. Here's how we do it.

Sourcing & Selection

Produce is hand-picked at peak ripeness from our network of certified organic farms. Each batch is inspected for size, colour, and freshness before entering the facility.

Washing & Preparation

Crops are washed in purified water, trimmed, and cut to specification. Multi-stage cleaning removes field debris while preserving natural texture and nutrients.

Blanching

Vegetables undergo a brief steam or hot-water blanch to deactivate enzymes, lock in colour, and reduce microbial load — a critical step for long-term quality.

IQF Tunnel Freezing

Individual pieces travel through a cryogenic tunnel at −35 °C. Rapid freezing forms micro-crystals instead of large ice shards, preserving cell structure, flavour, and nutrition.

Sorting & Inspection

Optical sorters and trained QC staff remove off-spec pieces. Metal detectors and X-ray scanners ensure zero foreign-body contamination before packing.

Packaging & Cold Storage

Products are weighed, sealed in food-grade poly bags, and cartoned under controlled atmosphere. Cold-chain integrity is maintained at −18 °C from warehouse to port.
